For six years, I wrote the blog Ann Arbor is Overrated, but it turned out that there were actually quite a few overrated things outside of Ann Arbor. This Blog Is Overrated will focus on some of the same targets that came up at AAIO — college-town NIMBYs, specious best-city rankings — and some new ones, with the overarching goal of bringing ideas down, or up, to their most accurate ratings.
The title of this blog is either self-deprecating, or it is meant to be read the same way as “The Name of This Band Is Talking Heads.” You decide.
